A little treat specialises in making handmade chocolates, sweet treats and celebration cakes. Everything is handmade to order so it can be customised to your requirements, if you want a flavour or product I don’t talready make get in touch and I can work some sweet treat magic.
I don’t add any artificial preservatives to my treats which means that some of the treats have a short shelf life.

About me
A little treat was founded in 2018 by me (Alex) I developed the business from a hobby I’ve enjoyed for many years; making cakes and sweet treats.
I am a nurse working in the NHS and run A little treat alongside this.
I’ve made cakes and sweet treats for family and friends for many years; mostly self-taught. Over the years many people said I should start a business but I never believed my products were good enough to sell. In 2017 to celebrate a significant birthday along with a group of friends I attended a chocolate making workshop; inspired by this I developed my skills further with lots of more practice at home.
Several things happened in 2018, I was asked to make some chocolates for a friend’s birthday celebration and I had a “lightbulb” moment when watching TV programme call “Top of the Shop” so decided to investigate the possibilities of making a business of my hobby.
And so the adventure began!
The Chocolate Workshop
The chocolate magic and treat making takes place in A little treat’s purpose built chocolate workshop. It’s also where I hold regular chocolate making events for children and adults. Have a look at my events and page for more information.
